The Cashier/Host at The Slice Pizza is the first and last point of contact for our guests, setting the tone with friendly service, accuracy, and a welcoming attitude. This hybrid role combines guest hospitality, order-taking, and smooth front‑of‑house flow to ensure every visit feels easy and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter and guide them through ordering or seating
• Take orders accurately at the register and enter them into the POS system
• Handle cash, card, and online transactions with accuracy and professionalism
• Manage takeout and third‑party pickup orders efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized front counter, lobby, and host stand
• Communicate wait times, menu details, and specials clearly to guests
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly
• Assist with opening, closing, and side‑work duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Customer service or cashier experience preferred
• Strong communication and hospitality skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfortable handling cash and POS systems
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
