Line Cook – Tsunami Sushi

Tsunami Sushi is looking for a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team! We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, takes pride in food quality, and works well with others. No previous kitchen experience is required—we’re willing to train the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Tsunami Sushi’s recipes and quality standards.

• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

• Keep workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked.

• Follow instructions and communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.

• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality and consistency.

• Assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• No previous kitchen experience required; training will be provided.

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Willing to follow food safety procedures and company standards.

Scheduling Requirements

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is mandatory.

• Must be dependable and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

• Additional shifts may be available depending on business needs.
