As a Supervisor at L'aromas Bakery, you will support the daily operations of the bakery, assisting in managing the team, maintaining product quality, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will play a key role in upholding standards, leading by example on the floor, and helping to drive efficiency, consistency, and team spirit. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about bakery operations and ready to take their first step into a leadership position. You will also help maintain high standards for our contract work by checking incoming deliveries and outgoing orders to ensure quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Bakery Manager and Senior Supervisor in overseeing daily production and service operations.
  • Supervise bakery team members during shifts to ensure product quality, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Help coordinate baking schedules to maintain fresh, well-stocked displays throughout the day.
  • Maintain strict quality control for all products, especially for contract and wholesale orders.
  • Check and verify incoming deliveries for accuracy, quality, and freshness.
  • Review outgoing orders to ensure they meet required specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new and existing staff on bakery processes, quality standards, and customer service.
  • Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and report low stock or supply issues.
  • Support with administrative duties such as recording production numbers, shift reports, and contract order tracking.
  • Lead by example by maintaining a clean, organized, and professional working environment.
  • Address minor team or customer issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Contribute ideas for improving production flow, contract fulfillment, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
