Southern Cross Kitchen is looking for an experienced Grill and/or Sauté Cook to join our high-energy, high-volume kitchen team.
We are a busy Southern-inspired restaurant with a strong catering presence, and we’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in their station, and wants to grow with a team that cares about food and execution.
What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–4+ years experience on grill and/or sauté station
  • Proven experience in high-volume service
  • Catering and banquet experience (on-site & off-site a plus)
  • Strong prep skills & knife skills
  • Ability to stay organized and clean during service
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and professional
    Responsibilities:
  • Execute dishes consistently and efficiently during peak service
  • Assist with daily prep and catering production
  • Maintain a clean and organized station
  • Follow recipes, plating standards, and kitchen systems
  • Support Sous Chef and Executive Chef as needed
    Compensation:
  • $Hourly - Based on Experience
  • Overtime pay
  • Performance bonuses available
    Flexible schedule required (nights & weekends).
