Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble salads, dressings, and cold appetizers according to recipes and portion standards
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of produce and ingredients (FIFO)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad station and prep areas
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to kitchen management
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all timeS
  • Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining quality

Skills

  • Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred (salad bar, prep cook, or cold station experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail in presentation
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and storage practices
  • Team player with good communication skills to provide high quality seemless service
  • Knowledgeable of other kitchen stations to assist when needed
