Kitchen Manager – Salt Spring Coffee Cafe and Kitchen
Salt Spring Coffee Cafe and Kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team in delivering high-quality, consistent meals in a welcoming and efficient environment. This hands-on role includes overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, sanitation, staff training, and a la carte breakfast cooking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff in all areas of food preparation and delivery
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen sanitation.
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and recipe development
  • Cook and support a la carte breakfast service
  • Train and support staff to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful kitchen environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar kitchen leadership role
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and positively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be punctual and available for early morning shifts
