Azteca D’Oro is a family mexican restaurant serving a wide variety of specialty Mexican dishes. As a potential employee, you are entering the exciting world of the restaurant service industry. Our ongoing goals are to extend our best "Azteca D’Oro Style" service to our guests, and to provide a quality food product and an entertaining family atmosphere to our guests to ensure their return to our restaurants. "Azteca D’Oro Style Service" means the best, friendliest service possible, and our number one priority is our guest. Our success has been built on our ability to consistently meet these goals, and our future depends on maintaining these standards. You, as a potential employee, play a key role in this success!
Azteca began in 1974 by Jose Luis "Pepe" Ramos. Pepe spoke little English and migrated from a little town in the mountains outside Guadalajara, Mexico called Cuautla. The name "Azteca" comes from the Aztec Indians of Mexico City and the Aztec logo is the Aztec Sun Calendar. Once Azteca started to grow, Pepe invited his three brothers Jaime, Victor, and Hector to join him in this successful venture in Seattle, WA.
In 2007, led by Armando Ramos, Azteca expanded its great success to Orlando, FL where it is known as Azteca D’Oro. Today, with the help from operating partners, Azteca D’Oro continues to grow further into cities in the Orlando-Tampa area with a total of 10 restaurants by the end of 2023. Although all locations vary in ownership groups, they are all family-owned and operated.
Now is an excellent time to join our team as we expand to the Tampa area. We feel very strongly that Azteca D’Oro will continue to grow and maintain its standing as the premier Mexican restaurant. We are constantly striving to develop our employees to be the best in the industry.
