Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Maintain current recipes, updating as needed
- Execute the menu with precision and care
- Assist Chef in developing, pricing & plating new menu items
- Help maintain Menu Profitability
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation & safety procedures
- Oversee daily cleaning/maintenance of Sauté station
- Assist with inventory when possible
- Understanding the importance of great BOH/FOH synergy
Skills
- 2+ years of culinary experience in an upscale restaurant
- Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Strong knife skills
- Experience in a “scratch” kitchen
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Reliable Transportation
