Dishwasher / Utility Team Member (Busy Café)
Full-Time or Part-Time | Fast-Paced Café Environment
We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher / Utility Team Member to join our team at a busy café. This role is essential to keeping the kitchen and guest spaces clean, organized, and running smoothly throughout service.
We’re looking for someone who moves with urgency, takes pride in cleanliness, and can stay on top of multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment throughout service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and back-of-house
  • Take out trash and recycling regularly and keep waste areas clean
  • Monitor and maintain the lobby/front-of-house during service
  • Clean and reset tables as needed
  • Respond quickly to spills or messes in the café and kitchen
  • Sweep, mop, and support general cleaning throughout the shift
  • Restock cleaning supplies and support the team wherever needed
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume café
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable staying active and on your feet for long periods
  • Able to lift and carry trash, dishes, and supplies
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Previous dishwasher or café/restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
