Job Overview

We are seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy artificial intelligence solutions that address business needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product teams, and other stakeholders to build reliable AI-powered applications and integrate machine learning models into production systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong programming background, an understanding of machine learning concepts, and the ability to translate technical requirements into practical AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and services.
  • Build and integrate machine learning models into existing software systems.
  • Develop applications using large language models (LLMs), where appropriate.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to support AI development and evaluation.
  • Build and maintain APIs and services for AI model integration.
  • Evaluate model performance, accuracy, reliability, and potential failure cases.
  • Implement testing, monitoring, and performance optimization for AI applications.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product stakeholders.
  • Develop data-processing pipelines and workflows for AI applications.
  • Apply responsible AI practices, including privacy protection, security, and bias evaluation.
  • Document technical designs, implementation decisions, and deployment procedures.
  • Research relevant AI tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve product capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in software development, machine learning engineering, AI engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Python or another suitable programming language.
  • Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and model evaluation.
  • Experience working with APIs, data processing, and software integration.
  • Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.
  • Knowledge of Git or another version-control system.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or AI agents.
  • Experience with vector databases and semantic search.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment practices.
  • Experience with model monitoring, evaluation, and responsible AI techniques.

Work Environment

The AI Engineer will collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop, evaluate, and maintain AI solutions. The role may involve experimentation, prototype development, production deployment, and ongoing system improvements.
