Assistant Front of House Manager
Full-Time Position
Location: V8 Roadhouse, Hartbeespoort

V8 Roadhouse — an award-winning restaurant known for exceptional food, unforgettable drinks, and a lively, family-friendly vibe — is looking for an Assistant Front of House Manager to support our dynamic team.
As our Assistant Front of House Manager, you’ll be the backbone of operations, working closely with the FOH Manager to keep guests happy, staff motivated, and service sharp. From coordinating bookings to jumping on the floor when things heat up, you’ll make sure the guest experience stays top-notch.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality (restaurant/bar/café).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills — you know how to motivate a team.
  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to handle pressure and problem-solve on the fly.
  • Knowledge of bar service, coffee, milkshakes, desserts, and food operations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting the FOH Manager with day-to-day operations.
  • Leading and motivating the front-of-house team during shifts.
  • Coordinating floor service to keep everything running like clockwork.
  • Training and mentoring new staff.
  • Ensuring customer service is always on point and handling guest feedback with professionalism.
  • Overseeing bookings, seating plans, and smooth table turnover.
  • Making sure hygiene, safety, and service standards are consistently maintained.

Qualifications: Prior hospitality supervisory/management experience would be an add benefit
