We are a high-end event venue in Manhattan, known for hosting a wide range of events from corporate gatherings to social celebrations. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking part-time dishwasher to join our team and help ensure our kitchen operations run smoothly during special events.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
• Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in their appropriate locations.
• Monitor and restock dishwashing supplies as necessary.
• Follow all health and safety standards, including proper sanitation procedures.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the event.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous Dishwashing Experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially during busy events.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure that all items are cleaned thoroughly and stored properly.
• Team Player: Willing to help other staff and contribute to a smooth-running kitchen environment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and handle hot/cold environments.
• Punctual and Reliable: Arrive on time for shifts and demonstrate dependability during busy events.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines is a plus.
