Job Overview

We are gearing up for the Fall at Morgan's BBQ. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server with a passion for Barbecue, Boubon and Tequilas to join our dynamic team. Previous experience at a BBQ restaurant is a plus! As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Accepting resumes on line and in person at Morgans BBQ. 4-5 shifts per week. Expect to fill position within the next 3 days.
Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that they have a positive experience in our establishment.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, and other beverages according to recipes and company standards.
• Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system, including handling cash, operating a cash register, and counting and reconciling cash and credit receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and handling standards at all times.
• Provide assistance with food service, including food handling and presentation.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Ensure that all guests have a positive experience by being attentive, knowledgeable, and responsive to their needs.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards guests and colleagues, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a high level of quality and consistency.
  Requirements:
• Prior experience as a server/bartender
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems, including Toast POS a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and to stand for extended periods of time.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
