Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and results-driven Catering & Event Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for generating new business, building client relationships, and managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to event execution. If you have a passion for event planning, food, and creating exceptional experiences, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Generate new leads and secure sales through various channels including inbound inquiries, networking, referrals, and outreach.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and develop tailored catering packages. Work closely with the operations team to ensure flawless execution.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Provide quotes, negotiate contracts, and finalize event details with clients.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to position our services effectively.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of sales leads, customer communications, and event details in our CRM system.
Requirements:
- Experience in event sales, catering sales, or hospitality sales is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities..
- Knowledge of catering, food trends, and event planning is a plus.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- A flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
