Duties

  • Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Lavu
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support sanitation and safety protocols throughout the restaurant environment to promote a safe dining experience for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service (2-3 years)
  • Open availability
  • ServeSafe certificate or similar
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to pre-bus tables
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
