We’re an Asian buffet under new management, and we’re building a fresh, energetic kitchen team. We are looking for a motivated and creative line cook to take charge of our sushi, fruit, and dessert station. If you enjoy working with fresh ingredients, take pride in presentation, and want to grow in a supportive environment, this is the right place for you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and present sushi rolls, sashimi, and related items.
- Operate the deep fryer station and prepare fried items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Cross-train and assist in multiple kitchen stations, including sushi, fryer, prep, and buffet replenishment.
- Prepare and serve fresh fruit platters, salads, and simple desserts.
- Maintain food freshness, quality, and attractive presentation.
- Keep all assigned stations clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and inventory rotation procedures.
- Assist with prep work and support teammates when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Kitchen experience is a plus, but not required — we provide full training.
- Good knife skills and attention to detail are helpful.
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
