JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Cook to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Cook will follow recipes, maintain food safety standards, and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ensure proper food portioning and presentation
Monitor food stock and report shortages
Assist with prep work (cutting, seasoning, marinating, etc.)
Work efficiently during high-volume service times
Maintain proper storage of food and supplies
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (1+ years)
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
Team player with good communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience with seafood or high-volume kitchens
Familiarity with fryers, grills, and kitchen equipment
Time management and multitasking skills
