Kitchen Helper

Oaked 110 is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our Back of House team. This is a hands-on support position focused on keeping the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and running efficiently.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying busy, takes initiative, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed. This is not strictly a dishwasher position. The Kitchen Helper will assist with a variety of cleaning, stocking, dishwashing, and basic kitchen support duties throughout each shift.

Position Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area
• Perform routine and assigned deep-cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen
• Clean kitchen equipment, walls, shelving, floors, coolers, and storage areas as assigned
• Sweep and mop kitchen and Back of House areas
• Empty trash and properly break down and dispose of cardboard and restaurant waste
• Stock kitchen shelves, coolers, freezers, and designated storage areas
• Receive and put away supplies and deliveries as directed
• Rotate and organize products according to restaurant procedures
• Assist with basic and light food preparation as trained and assigned
• Assist with portioning, basic prep, and restocking kitchen stations
• Keep cleaning supplies and kitchen support items stocked and organized
• Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Complete assigned opening, running, and closing duties
• Identify cleaning, stocking, or organizational needs and take initiative to address them
• Perform additional kitchen support duties as assigned by management or kitchen leadership

Position Requirements

• Must be punctual, dependable, and ready to work at the scheduled start time
• Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willingness to perform cleaning and deep-cleaning duties
• Ability to follow instructions and restaurant procedures
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and move kitchen supplies and equipment as required
• Must maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate
