Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Full Time or Part Time front line cook to join our restaurant!
All applicants are required to have a minimum 2 years of experience in a respective position, a valid food handlers' certificate(preferably), a positive attitude and a strong ability to work under pressure. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, willing to work flexible hours (weekday/weekends/holidays) and can multitask.
Able to multitask and work on many orders at once , maintaining a clean workspace and be able to stand and work in a busy environment for long periods of time - Expected to clean and be respectful towards co-workers and customers and to be punctual.
Duties & Responsibilities

Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service

Prepare a variety of foods, meat, poultry, vegetable items.

Arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes for allocated station

Cover, date and correctly store all bits and pieces and food prep items

Notify Managers in advance of likely shortages

Use food preparation tools in accordance with manufactures instructions

Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations

Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times

Serve menu items compliant with established standards

Keep the work area fresh all through the shift

Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately

Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices
Skills Previous experience in the fast-food industry
- Motivated, Willingness to learn, Good attitude
- Experience as a cook in a fast paced, high-volume restaurant required
