Role Overview

We’re looking for a Cook who takes ownership of their station, works well under pressure, and understands the standards of a high-volume brunch kitchen. You’ll collaborate closely with the Kitchen Manager and culinary team to maintain consistency, timing, and presentation across all menu items.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times
  • Assist with prep, stock rotation, and daily line setup
  • Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation standards are met consistently
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control protocols
  • Communicate effectively with the Kitchen Manager and team during service
  • Support other kitchen stations when needed
  • Help maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues promptly

Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen (breakfast/brunch preferred)
  • Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety procedures
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Availability on weekends and holidays required
  • Valid California Food Handler Card required before start date
