HOST/RUNNER - LITTLE RITUALS
Little Rituals in Phoenix, AZ is looking for dedicated host to join our team. We are located on 132 S Central Ave 4th Floor, Residence Inn/Courtyard By Marriott. We are an independently owned and operated bar, not affiliated with Marriott.
Listed Wage range includes tip out. As Little Rituals is a cocktail bar, shifts last from 4:30pm until approximately midnight or later.
We are looking for an upbeat savvy individual that can hustle and keep a smile on their face that wants to join our award-winning team starting on a part-time basis during the week and weekends to start. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.
A great work ethic is a non-negotiable point that is needed for this position and you must be used to being on your feet.
Good timekeeping and dependable transportation are a must. All applicants should have heart, integrity, a positive attitude and take great pride in their work. Our ideal candidate pays extreme attention to detail and works well in a close team environment.
Host Responsibilities

  • Answering phones, booking reservations, managing the flow of guests through the evening using our reservation technology
  • Providing outstanding hospitality to our guests and making them feel welcome
  • Estimating wait time for guests
  • Seating guests
  • Limited guest service, including water, welcome cocktail, and full table service in a limited capacity
  • Taking to-go orders, when necessary
  • Communicate with management and door staff to ensure appropriate room flow
  • Check identification, when necessary

Runner Responsibilities

  • Organizing & transporting food from kitchen to dining room
  • Delivering food to tables
  • Delivering food to rooms
  • bussing tables as needed, when possible
  • assisting in stocking takeout supplies & condiments
  • assisting with the organization of silverware and flatware
  • Delivering a great customer experience

Qualifications

  • A passion for cocktails & hospitality
  • Friendly and outgoing personality, with great communication skills.
  • Experience with, or the ability to learn, an I-Pad based reservation system.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational and motivational skills
  • Arizona Liquor Law Certification
