Position Overview

The Bartender at Cork & Craft is a key ambassador of the brand, curating memorable beverage experiences that complement the restaurant’s sophisticated yet welcoming vibe. Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Welcome guests warmly and engage them with approachable professionalism.
  • Prepare and serve beverages to Cork & Craft standards — consistently, efficiently, and beautifully presented.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations for cocktails, wine, and beer pairings.
  • Maintain awareness of guest preferences, ensuring personalized and memorable service.
  • Uphold Cork & Craft’s reputation for smooth, inviting hospitality throughout every interaction.

Beverage Craftsmanship

  • Create classic and signature cocktails with precision and artistry.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wine varietals, and beer styles.
  • Consistently follow recipes and portion control to ensure balance and profitability.
  • Monitor and maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
  • Assist with cocktail menu development, seasonal updates, and event pairings.

Bar Operations & Cleanliness

  • Set up and break down the bar efficiently before and after service.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Restock inventory, glassware, and supplies throughout service.
  • Assist with receiving, rotating, and organizing bar inventory.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.

POS & Financial Accuracy

  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system in real time.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly and reconcile tabs with precision.
  • Maintain control over comps, voids, and discounts per company policy.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management for seamless order flow.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Bar Backs, Servers, and Management to maintain a cohesive, efficient operation.
  • Lead by example in professionalism, composure, and guest focus.
  • Support a culture of teamwork and respect across the bar and dining room.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of bartending experience in an upscale or high-volume setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and craft cocktails.
  • Proven ability to engage guests with confidence and authenticity.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with POS systems (Toast, Aloha, or similar).
  • Must have current food handler’s and liquor service certification (AZ Title 4).
