Sales Associate
Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for all sales activity from lead generation through to close of sale. Associates will aid the Sales Manager in ensuring that ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives are met. Associates will uphold the company’s standards in all communication with clients. The Associate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients.
Sales Associates will be responsible for speaking to clients, creating proposals and contracts, communicating event details, disseminating event details to all departments, ensuring correct event and pricing information is conveyed to clients.
Sales Associate Duties
· Answering phones, responding to voicemails, replying to requests and intakes

  • Building strong relationships with customers
  • Corresponding with clients request and change orders
  • Obtaining correct event details: guest count, location and timelines
  • Creating proposal, contracts and kitchen orders
  • Meeting with clients for preliminary discussion, tastings and site visits
  • Additional Duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Attention to detail
  • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of MS Office, Excel and Word

Additional Experience a Plus

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Word a plus
  • Background in foodservice a plus
