Job Summary :
Olá! As a Host you'll be the welcoming face of our establishment, the first and last impression our guests receive. You'll be responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, managing reservations efficiently, accurately estimating wait times, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience from start to finish. This role demands exceptional customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll be the linchpin of our front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless communication between guests, servers, and management, and contributing directly to our reputation for outstanding hospitality. Core Responsibilities:
Guest Greeting and Welcoming:

  • Greet all guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Make guests feel welcome and comfortable upon arrival.

Reservation Management:

  • Answer phone calls and take reservations accurately.
  • Manage and organize reservation lists.
  • Utilize reservation systems and software.

Seating and Table Management:

  • Escort guests to their assigned tables.
  • Manage the flow of guests and optimize table utilization.
  • Provide menus and inform guests of server assignments.
  • Coordinate with servers and management to ensure efficient seating.
  • Assist the Server Assistant team with clearing and resetting tables for the next guests.

Customer Service:

  • Provide accurate wait time estimates.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Handle customer complaints with tact and diplomacy.
  • Accommodate special requests when possible.

General Duties:

  • Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess area.
  • Assist with other duties as needed, such as answering phones or taking to-go orders.
  • May help with light cleaning duties.
