Spill the Beans Coffee + Bagel: Ocean Beach is seeking dynamic and experienced Shift Leaders for our OB location!
About Us:
Spill the Beans Coffee + Bagel has been a local go-to coffee and bagel spot since our founding in 2017. Our mission is to be the high note of the day for each guest that visits our shop. We take great pride in serving locally roasted coffee and homemade California-style bagels to our customers, alongside unique shmears, butters and breakfast sandos.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee each shift, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service.
  • Help oversee the team and uphold our high standards of customer experience and product quality.
  • Connect with the OB community and help to foster a loyal base of regulars
  • Place orders, and help to ensure adequate stock of supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Assists with enforcing company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Foster a positive work environment where teamwork, communication, and collaboration thrive.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a coffee shop leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
