• Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept and to which food must be prepared to avoid foodbourne illness
• Accountability for prepared dishes measuring up to the expectations of management and guests alike
• Calm demeanor to work in a high-stress, face-paced environment
• Ability to read and interpret tickets printed in English with an emphasis on successfully executing modifications specified by the guest
• Team players who do things because they need to be done and not just because they were instructed to
• Comprehension and organization to follow direct orders and recipes and to correctly prepare dishes to the standards of the management and guests
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting and dicing
