Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute a variety of menu items including entrees, sides, and desserts,: following established recipes and guidelines
  • Adhere to strick food safety and sanitary regulations, including proper hygiene, handeling, storage and labeling of ingredients
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessities before the start of each shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
  • Monitor and Manage cooking times to ensure that each dish is prepared and served in a timely manner, coordinating with other kitchen staff to maintain a consistent flow.
  • Prepare food items according to specific cooking methods, temperatures, and portion sizes, ensuring optimal taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate orders, communication special requests and/or dietary restrictions, and maintain a harmonious and effective working environment.
  • Assist, monitor and participate in cleaning and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: equipment, dishwashing, kitchen organization, helping to uphold cleanliness standards and ensuring a safe workplace environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Skills

  • Proven experience working as a line cook in a similar culinary role, demonstrating a solid understanding of cooking techniques, flovor profiles, and food safety practices.
  • Experience operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, including but not limited to: grills, smokers, ovens, fryers, and other essential culinary tools.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Ability to withstand long hours of standing, working in a hot and fast paced environment, while lifting heavy objects: pots, pans, food and supplies.
