Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and organized Food Runner/Expeditor to join our dynamic team. The primary role of this position is to ensure that food orders are delivered promptly and accurately to our customers. You will be the crucial link between the servers, kitchen and the dining area, ensuring a seamless flow of service and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to the customers.
  • Ensure that all food items are correctly plated and presented according to restaurant standards.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Handle any customer inquiries or issues promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen pass area and service stations.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, including restocking supplies and assisting servers during busy periods.
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food runner or expeditor role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
