Astoria Grill is looking for a friendly and organized Host to join our front-of-house team. The Host will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive. This role involves managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining an efficient flow of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests, efficiently seating them according to restaurant capacity.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Provide menus and explain specials or promotions to guests.
• Communicate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hosting or customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
