Position Summary

FireHorse Saloon is seeking dependable and professional Security Team Members to ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. Security personnel are responsible for enforcing policies, monitoring entry points, de-escalating conflicts, and maintaining a visible and respectful presence throughout the venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the entrance and verify age using POS system as needed
• Stamp hands or issue wristbands to confirm age verification
• Conduct security screenings including scanning all guests for weapons and checking all bags
• Monitor entrance and exit points to maintain controlled access
• Observe crowd behavior and de-escalate conflicts when necessary
• Conduct regular patrols inside and around the venue, including restrooms, VIP, and parking areas
• Assist with maintaining maximum occupancy and crowd control
• Support front desk, bar staff, and management in enforcing rules and addressing safety concerns
• Complete incident reports and communicate issues to management as needed
• Escort guests out of the venue when necessary in a calm and respectful manner

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Prior experience in nightlife security, law enforcement, or similar role preferred
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling active duty responsibilities
• Reliable, assertive, and able to remain calm under pressure
• TABC and Security certification preferred or must be obtained before first shift

Compensation

• $15/hour
• Bi-weekly pay
• Bonus opportunities for retention and referrals
• Advancement opportunities to Lead Security or Head of Security
