The Role
We’re seeking an Oyster Shucker & Restaurant Support Team Member who will play a key role in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This position combines technical skill at the raw bar with versatility across food running, prep work, and general restaurant support.
Responsibilities
- Oyster Shucking & Raw Bar Service
- Shuck oysters and prepare raw bar items quickly, safely, and with consistent presentation.
- Maintain raw bar cleanliness, organization, and proper food safety standards.
- Interact with guests at the bar when needed, showcasing product knowledge and enthusiasm.
- Food Running & Guest Service
- Deliver food from kitchen to guests accurately and efficiently.
- Assist servers by explaining dishes and ensuring guests receive the correct orders.
- Provide a polished and professional guest experience, anticipating needs and responding promptly.
- Prep & Kitchen Support
- Assist with daily prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and stocking stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and storage areas.
- Support BOH team during service with light kitchen tasks as directed.
- General Restaurant Duties
- Uphold sanitation and safety standards across all workstations.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
- Step into other roles when needed—this is a versatile, team-oriented position.
