Job Overview

We’re on the lookout for an experienced and energetic Front of House Manager to lead our FOH operations. This role is integral to delivering exceptional service, from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead, train, and inspire FOH staff, including hosts, servers, and bartenders.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Manage reservations and seating to optimize guest experience and turnover.
  • Address guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the front-of-house areas.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll, and inventory tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory or management role within hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with the Toast POS system and 7shifts scheduling platform, which is essential for daily operations and labor management.
  • 7shifts integrates directly with Toast to streamline scheduling, sync labor data, and optimize labor costs across real-time sales and payroll.
  • Capability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Past experience working with budget/labor forecasting and reporting.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a restaurant environment.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll processing and inventory systems.
