Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for an experienced and energetic Front of House Manager to lead our FOH operations. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, a passion for hospitality, and a talent for fostering a positive and efficient environment. This role is integral to delivering exceptional service, from the moment guests arrive until they leave.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and inspire FOH staff, including hosts, servers, and bartenders.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Manage reservations and seating to optimize guest experience and turnover.
- Address guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the front-of-house areas.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and inventory tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory or management role within hospitality.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with the Toast POS system and 7shifts scheduling platform, which is essential for daily operations and labor management.
- 7shifts integrates directly with Toast to streamline scheduling, sync labor data, and optimize labor costs across real-time sales and payroll.
- Capability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Past experience working with budget/labor forecasting and reporting.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a restaurant environment.
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing and inventory systems.
