Responsibilities 

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  •     •    Present menus, explain daily specials and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and promotions.
  •     •    Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system or written notepad.
  •     •    Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper table etiquette.
  •     •    Monitor tables for guest needs, refill beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  •     •    Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
  •     •    Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, or gift cards.
  •     •    Maintain cleanliness of assigned sections, including tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.
  •     •    Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines consistently.
  •     •    Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
  •     •    Upsell menu items, beverages, or promotions to maximize sales.
  •     •    Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after shifts.
  •     •    Participate in team meetings and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  •     •    Stay informed about menu changes, seasonal offerings, and restaurant events.
