Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Mixing and Serving Drinks:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. -
Ensure drinks are made accurately, efficiently, and consistently to maintain quality and customer satisfaction. -
Monitor and control the level of alcohol consumption, adhering to legal drinking age and responsible serving guidelines. -
Customer Service: -
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and engaging in friendly conversation. -
Make recommendations on drink selections and offer guidance on menu items. -
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and courteously. -
Cash Handling and Point-of-Sale (POS) Operations: -
Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment accurately and securely. -
Process transactions using the POS system, including ringing up orders, processing payments, and issuing receipts. -
Maintain an organized and tidy cash register area, including balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts. -
Inventory Management: -
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies. -
Order and restock inventory as needed to ensure sufficient stock levels. -
Rotate stock and check for product freshness and quality regularly. -
Bar Maintenance and Cleanliness: -
Keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and well-organized at all times. -
Clean and polish glassware, utensils, and bar equipment. -
Perform routine maintenance tasks on bar equipment, such as cleaning draft beer lines or replacing kegs. -
Menu Knowledge and Upselling: -
Have a thorough understanding of the restaurant's drink menu, including specialty cocktails, wines, and beers. -
Educate customers about different drink options and make suggestions based on their preferences. -
Upsell premium or specialty drinks to increase sales and enhance the customer experience. -
Team Collaboration: -
