Responsibilities 

  • Have a friendly and perosnable demeanor to deal with patrons.
  • Be able to memorize menu items and weekly specials.
  • Capable of handling the responsibilities of both serving and/or bar-tending.
  • Preparing alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons, as well as serving staff.
  • He/She is required to check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies daily.
  • He/She must attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
  • He/She must be able to interact with customers, take orders, run food, and make drinks- this position requires a strong ability to multitask.
  • Requires he/she to assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendation by presenting menu, offering cocktails and appetizers, suggesting courses, explaining the chef's specialties, identifying appropriate wines, and answering food preparation questions.
  • Responding to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process
  • He/She will maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses, being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
  • Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting patrons to return.
  • Capable of completing side work post shift including, cleaning the wrok stations, re-stocking, rolling silverware, ect.
  • High energy level, professionalism, strong communication, and good attitude are qualities we are seeking.
