Title: Line Cook/Prep Cook
Primary Responsibilities: Completes all assigned prep work and sets up the cook's station. Maintains product presentations, product quality and cook time standards. Prepares all menu items according to The Fairfield Recipes, Plate Presentations and specifications.
Essential Functions and Duties:

  1. Prepares menu items according to The Fairfield Recipes, Plate Presentations and specifications.
  2. Completes all assigned prep work.
  3. Sets up the workstation according to the station diagram.
  4. Practices sanitary and safe food handling always.
  5. Temps all food items per Board of Health specifications.
  6. Cleans and sanitizes the work area before, during and after shift.
  7. Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
  8. All other job duties assigned by a manager to ensure the effective and orderly operations of the restaurant.
