We are in the process of opening a new banquet venue in downtown Springfield, so this will be one of the primary catering locations.
WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PEOPLE!
Responsibilities:
Setting up guest dining area
Assist with setting of catering food presentations/stations as detailed on the banquet event order
Setting tables and rearranging as specified on the banquet event order
Excellent listening skills and detail oriented to meet guest requests
Knowledgeable of the event details and menu
Provide guests with prompt and friendly service
Replenish buffet and/or tables (napkins, plates, utensils, etc.)
Maintain a teamwork approach and a positive attitude
Collaborate with the Banquet Captain & Chef in Charge to provide quality service
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
Observe dining process to anticipate guest needs
Exceed Guest Expectations
Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
Assist with keeping the caterer's area neat, clean, and presentable
Assist with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers, and other service areas
Protect banquet guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and proper service of alcohol standards
Closing event tasks, bussing dishes, sweeping floors, packing, breaking down tables and chairs as needed
Be responsible, trustworthy, and punctual
Provide friendly customer service while maintaining a pleasant event atmosphere
Other affiliated tasks as they are assigned

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
