Position Summary

We’re looking for a fast-moving, detail-oriented Grill Sergeant to join our kitchen team. The Short Order Fry & Grill Cook plays a key role in preparing high-quality comfort food quickly and consistently, handling everything from golden fries to sizzling burgers. If you can keep cool under pressure, work the flat top like a pro, and know the difference between a perfect sear and an overcook, we want you on the line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grill Mastery: Prepare burgers, sandwiches, and grilled items to order with precision and consistency.
  • Fry Station Command: Operate fryers safely, producing crispy, golden sides and appetizers.
  • Line Efficiency: Work quickly during high-volume service while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Food Safety: Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
  • Prep & Stock: Assist with food prep, restocking stations, and ensuring readiness for service.
  • Teamwork: Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure orders go out correctly and on time.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food presentation and standards before dishes are served.

Qualifications

  • Previous short order, diner, or fast-casual cooking experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on consistency.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
