Position: Restaurant Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, organized, and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of Taíno’s. This individual will be responsible for guiding the team, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring every guest experiences authentic Puerto Rican hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent service and a high-quality dining experience.
- Lead, train, motivate, and develop staff to deliver efficient and friendly service.
- Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Create work schedules, monitor labor costs, and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Implement marketing strategies, promotions, and community engagement initiatives to drive sales.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall restaurant atmosphere that reflects Puerto Rican culture and authenticity.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems to track sales, analyze performance, and manage cash-handling procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure menu consistency, quality control, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in fast-casual or quick-service environments.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Customer Service: Strong passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Technology: Familiarity with POS systems and scheduling software; digital marketing experience is a plus.
- Cultural Appreciation: Genuine appreciation for Puerto Rican food and culture.
