At Toro Kitchen & Bar, a modern Spanish restaurant, our Servers are the storytellers of the dining room. You’ll guide guests through a menu inspired by Spain, pairing thoughtful hospitality with a deep knowledge of our food, wine, and cocktails. With warmth and professionalism, you’ll create memorable dining experiences where every detail feels intentional.

Responsibilities 

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
  • Present and describe menu items, daily specials, and Spanish wines/cocktails with confidence.
  • Take and deliver orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Collaborate closely with bartenders, runners, and kitchen team to maintain smooth service flow.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service stations.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of the dining room and private events.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.

Skills 

  • 1+ year serving experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a guest-first attitude.
  • Knowledge of Spanish cuisine, wine, or cocktails (training provided).
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • TABC and Food Handler certifications (or ability to obtain).

Job Settings

  • Primarily evening and weekend shifts.
  • Must be available for holidays and private functions.
