A Host/Hostess sets the first impression of our business. Your Primary responsibility is to greet guests, enter orders in the POS systems, process payments, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for all guest.

Responsibilities

  • Greet Customers with a warm, friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Assist customers in understanding menu, make recomendations, and answer questions about ingredients and dietary restrictions.
  • Efficiently process customer orders using the resturants POS system.
  • Maintain accurate cash register balances and ensure proper handeling of all transactions
  • Knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients, preperation methods and specials.
  • Follow established procedures for ordering, modifications, special requests and/or substitutions
  • Maintain cleanliness and orginization of counter/hostess area, ensuring a tidy and appealing environment
  • Adhere to proper food and safety hygiene guidelines ensuring the health and safety of all guests
  • Support a positive and inclusive workplace environment by respecting, communicating, and cooperating with all colleagues
  • Report to work in complete required unifrom
  • Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the image of the restaurant.

Skills

  • Previous experience in customer serivce
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and cash handling
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Flexiblity to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability ti stand for extended periods of time and lift moderate weight
