The Server at Forke Restaurant embodies refined hospitality and expert knowledge of French-American cuisine. This role requires an elevated sense of service, including table-side preparation and presentation, ensuring each guest experience feels personal, polished, and memorable. Within our elegant dining room and discreet speakeasy lounge, the Server is both a storyteller and a host, delivering attentive, seamless service that reflects the restaurant’s commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver professional, attentive service that reflects Forke’s high standards of hospitality.
  • Perform table-side service and presentation of select menu items and beverages with precision, elegance, and confidence.
  • Present and explain menus and specials, highlighting seasonal ingredients, French-American influences, and Chef recommendations.
  • Guide guests through wine and cocktail pairings, collaborating with the sommelier and bar team to enhance the dining experience.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure accurate, timely delivery of dishes and drinks.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ensuring a smooth and elevated service flow throughout the dining experience.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Handle special requests and feedback with grace and professionalism.
  • Process orders and payments accurately through the POS system.
  • Support team members across all service areas to uphold the Forke standard of excellence.
  • Comply with Nevada health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Skills 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in an upscale or fine dining restaurant is preferred.
  • Proven skill in table-side service techniques (e.g., carving, flambé, finishing dishes, or wine presentation).
  • Strong knowledge of French cuisine, wine, and classic service etiquette.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Polished and professional appearance, with a calm and confident presence.
  • Nevada Health/Sanitation Card and Alcohol Awareness (TAM) Card required.
  • Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and creating elevated guest experiences.
