Responsibilities 

  • Greeting customers: Servers welcome customers and direct them to their tables
  • Learning the POS system
  • Taking orders: Servers take orders in a friendly manner and relay them to the kitchen
  • Communicating with the kitchen: Servers inform the kitchen of new orders and special requests
  • Delivering food and drinks: Servers ensure food and drinks are delivered promptly and check on tables periodically
  • Handling payments: Servers process payments accurately and quickly using a variety of payment methods
  • Providing customer service: Servers answer questions, make recommendations, and deal with concerns and complaints
  • Cleaning: Servers keep their sections clean and tidy. Cleaning section and side works after upon closing the restaurant.
  • Closing tables: Servers close and cash out tables
