Job Overview

Responsibilities 

  • Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand as required
  • Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, kitchen floors, and waste disposal zones
  • Remove garbage and recycling to appropriate bins; clean bins regularly
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Assist with basic food prep or deliveries as directed by kitchen leadership
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Notify management of any broken equipment or maintenance needs

Skills 

  • Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
