Job Overview

We are looking for a Yemeni Cook to join our cooking team and prepare delicious plates for the guests at our restaurant.

Job Description:
· Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies,
· Determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies for meats and cheeses
· Prepare and cook a variety of complete hot meals daily
· Prepare and cook special order meals
· Oversee kitchen operations and supervise kitchen helpers
· Set up and oversee displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas
· Clean kitchen and work area
· Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures established
· Work with others to fulfill all orders within quality standards
· Handling a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, meat slicers, deep fryers and ovens

Responsibilities include preparing a wide range of traditional Yemeni foods and other dishes, maintaining inventory and records of food and supplies, and working with an attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards.

Job requirements


Completion of college or other program in cooking

Several years of commercial cooking experience

Specific Skills
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

Clean kitchen and work areas
