  1. Shift Prep Work (Pre-Rush)
  • Prepping Ingredients: Chop vegetables, portion sauces, and prepare according to daily inventory needs.
  • Batching Sides: Mix bulk items like coleslaw, salads, or specialty sauces using exact recipe measurements.
  • Filling Stations: Stock the line and expo station with fresh backups of all ingredients, packaging, and utensils before service begins.
  • Rotating Stock: Apply First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rules to ensure older prep items are used before newly prepped ones.
  1. Meal Building & Finishing
  • Assembling Components: Add final toppings, sauces, and garnishes directly to the food base (e.g., placing the top bun on a burger, saucing wings).
  • Customizing Orders: Execute special customer modifications perfectly, such as "no mayo" or "extra cheese."
  • Plating and Traying: Arrange food visually and neatly on dine-in trays or inside to-go packaging.
  1. Order Consolidation & Quality Control
  • Matching Tickets: Double-check that the built meal exactly matches the digital POS screen or paper ticket.
  • Inspecting Quality: Reject any burnt, poorly assembled, or visually unappealing food before it reaches the customer.
  • Adding Condiments: Complete the order by adding the correct sides and sauces to the order or tray.

Key Skills Required

  • Knife Skills: Safe, efficient, and precise cutting techniques for uniform prep work.

  • Recipe Literacy: Ability to follow strict measurements and step-by-step instructions to maintain food consistency.

  • High Dexterity: Fast, neat hand movements to assemble meals quickly without making a mess under pressure.

  • As a Team member you can be assigned to a primary job but may be required to step into other roles as needed. As a Warrior Wings Team Member, you will be responsible for creating a fun and customer-focused environment while maintaining consistent quality food orders quickly.
