Responsibilities 

  • Servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer needs are met. This includes greeting customers, answering questions, and dealing with concerns and complaints
    Taking orders
    Servers take food and beverage orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff. They may also input orders into a computer system so kitchen staff can prepare meals.
  • CleaningServers are responsible for keeping their dining area clean and tidy, usually by vacuuming, sweeping, shampooing, and washing surfaces.
  • Taking paymentsServers are responsible for handling payments accurately and quickly using a variety of payment methods.
  • Coordinating with kitchen staffServers communicate with kitchen staff to help them process food orders and accommodate special requests.
  • Adhering to guidelinesServers must adhere to all relevant health department rules and regulations and all customer service guidelines.
