Dishwasher Responsibilities

Main Duties

The dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishware used by guests is thoroughly cleaned and restocked. This includes maintaining a consistent supply of clean dishes throughout service hours.

Bus Tub and Rack Maintenance

It is essential to keep the bus tubs clean and emptied regularly, as well as to maintain the organization of the bus tub racks. Proper handling of these items helps maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Kitchenware Care

All kitchenware must be washed properly and either stored in their designated locations or returned promptly to the kitchen for further use. Proper storage ensures an efficient workflow in the kitchen.

Trash Removal

The dishwasher is also in charge of taking out the trash throughout the restaurant, ensuring that waste does not accumulate and that the work environment remains clean and safe.

Assisting with Deliveries

Occasionally, the dishwasher may be asked to help unload products from delivery trucks, supporting the kitchen team with receiving and organizing supplies as needed.
