Job Overview

Responsibilities 

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Take customer orders accurately in person or through the restaurant's ordering system.
  • Process cash, credit/debit card, and other payments accurately.
  • Answer customer questions about menu items, prices, and available options.
  • Assemble and serve customer orders according to restaurant standards.
  • Check orders for accuracy and ensure customers receive the correct items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front counter, dining area, and customer-service areas.
  • Restock cups, napkins, utensils, condiments, and other front-of-house supplies.
  • Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and other team members to keep orders moving efficiently.
  • Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other restaurant duties as assigned.
