Job Description:
Twisted Elk Outpost is looking for a dependable, personable bartender/beertender to run our small downtown taproom. This is a relaxed but fast-paced craft beverage environment focused on great customer service, quality drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Our Outpost is an intimate taproom seating approximately 16–20 guests, serving craft beer, cocktails, wine, and to-go beer sales. There is no food service, so the focus is entirely on beverage knowledge, hospitality, and guest experience.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys talking craft beer, and can help drive sales through recommendations and upselling.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve beer, wine, and cocktails efficiently and responsibly
  • Maintain strong knowledge of craft beer styles and rotating selections
  • Recommend beverages and upsell to-go beer and featured drinks
  • Operate the taproom independently during most shifts
  • Provide friendly, attentive customer service
  • Keep the taproom clean, stocked, and organized
  • Handle opening/closing duties and cash/POS transactions
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional environment

Qualifications:

  • Bartending or taproom experience preferred
  • Comfortable working alone and managing a small space independently
  • Knowledge of craft beer and basic cocktail preparation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Must clear background check and be RAMP certifed.

Compensation:

  • $9/hour plus tips

Schedule:

  • Part-time to start
  • Weekend availability required
  • Opening date is still being finalized; currently reviewing applications and building our team ahead of launch
